Four staff members of Colorado Bend State Park recently completed their Annual Wildland Fire Fighter Refresher training. This training includes a timed 45 minute 3 mile hike with a 45lb pack. The firefighters also had to be able to deploy a fire shelter within 20 seconds.... + continue reading
