Bonnie Ruth Parks Howell

Bonnie Ruth Parks Howell passed away October 3, 2014, in Ozona after a long illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the China Creek Cemetery at 2:00p.m. Bonnie was born Novemer 10, 1942, in Copperas Cove, Texas to D.B. "Cooter" Parks and Frances Stewart Parks. She attended school in San Saba. She married Jerry Howell August 28, 1998 in Bracketville, Texas. They lived in Comstock. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Howell, of Comstock; sons Greg Snider of Alaska and Gary of Austin; a daughter, Tana Roark and husband, Chris of Arkansas; three sisters, Joyce Sanderson of Buchanan Dam, Betty Townsend of Burnet, and  anda Wallace of Comstock; two brothers, Donald Parks and wife, Sandra, and Larry Parks of San Saba; eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents

Lolly Maultsby

Lolly Maultsby passed from this life to her eternal home on September 22, 2014 at her home in Angleton, Texas at the age of 64. Lolly was born on October 5, 1949 to Bill and Sara Maultsby. They named her Dolores Ann, but she refused to be called anything but Lolly. She was raised in San Saba, along with her brother and sister, and attended school here. Lolly was very athletic and took part in many activities. Always the “life of the party”, she kept everyone around her laughing. She loved to fish and spent many hours on the San Saba River. Valrea (Doran) Patton of San Saba went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her home. Visitation was held on September 30, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with services following at 2:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba with Interment at Richland Springs Cemetery in Richland Springs.
