Mack Clay Casbeer passed away on January 25, 2014 in Goldthwaite, Texas at the age of 61. Visitation was held January 28, 2014 and graveside services were held January 29, 2014 where he was interred at Casbeer-Adams Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas. He was born on March 26, 1952 in San Saba, Texas to Raymond Casbeer and Erma (Seider) Casbeer. On April 15, 1989, he married Denise Stark in San Antonio, Texas.
Mack Clay Casbeer was a Baptist. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #645. His occupation in life was as a rancher and a Sheriff. He was the Mills County Sheriff from 1982-1988. He worked as a cowboy on several area ranches. He was also a welder, and built his own home. He was a wonderful storyteller, had a great sense of humor, and kept his family entertained. His wonderful sense of humor never faded, even at the very end.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Casbeer of Goldthwaite, TX; his daughter, Jody Casbeer of Brownwood, TX; his son, Daniel Miller of Ft. Worth, TX; his brother, Ernie Casbeer and wife, Cathy of Lago Vista, TX; his sisters, Rita Adams of Goldthwaite, TX and Lavina Casbeer of San Angelo, TX; his grandchildren, Rikki Mackala, Fate Renae, Anthony Mack, and Joseph Egan; and great-granddaughter, Alainah
