Saturday May 4th - Pecan Capital Trade Day
It is tomorrow morning! This will be the last Trade Day before the summer break. At last report, the rain chances are low, and we will just have some clouds to keep us from the sun’s heat.
See what money you have hidden in your cookie jar and come on out to the Courthouse square starting at 9 a.m.!
Saturday May 4th - Cherokee Day Family Fun Fest
Join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a BBQ lunch, Games, Open House, Splash Pad, Face Painting and more!
This annual event helps fill the pantry at the Cherokee Home for Children. You are invited to help make a difference in the lives of children through our annual food drive and Family Fun Fest.
The Cherokee Day Family Fun Fest provides a wonderful opportunity for us to help fill our pantry with delicious and nutritious food, collect enough funds for groceries to carry us through the year, and allow us to host our donors and friends.
It’s also an opportunity for families to tour our campus, enjoy family-friendly games and activities, meet our staff and children, and enjoy BBQ lunch together…all in the context of serving those in need.
For a list of needed items, contact mwhitt@cherokeehome.org, or call (325) 622-4201. Give online at www.chc4kids.org or, mail your check to PO Box 295, Cherokee, TX 76832.
