MOE 7/8 share “Above The Rim Classic” Tournament Championship

On Saturday, April 20, MOE 7/8 traveled to Forbes Middle School in Georgetown, Texas, to take part in the 2024 Next Level 'Above the Rim Classic' basketball tournament.

MOE would get off to a slow start as they would drop the opening round game to the tournament host, Next Level 8th Grade, 33-28. MOE would then upset tournament favorite Austin Lady Magic 8th in the second round, 30-25, and then go on and defeat the Copperas Cove Lady Crusaders 7/8 in the third round, 28-20.

The Austin Lady Magic would go on and defeat Next Level, 31-26, to create a threeway share of the tournament title.

Next up for MOE 7/8 is a return trip to Georgetown, Texas, to take part in the 2024 Next Level 'Mayhem' basketball tournament on May 4.
